CLOSING CEREMONY OF AGRO TECH FESTIVAL SAGROLI HIGHLIGHTS-

The Agro Tech festival that has been organized on the occasion of Sanskriti Samvardhan Mandal's Diamond jubilee Year by Sanskriti Samvardhan Mandal SSM's- Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Sagroli in collaboration with Department of Agriculture Culminated with a hope that farmers will be being serious about farming, and could bring about positive change in the way of farming, Shri. Prakash Pohare Editor in chief of Deshonnati Newspaper attended a ceremony in Sagroli on Tuesday, during the event some successful farmers awarded by the auspicious hands of Shri. Pohare, while interacting with farmers Pohare stated that it was being tremendous availability of food grains rates have fallen down, therefore, Farmers should give priority to processing the agricultural products, Dr. Harihar Kausadikar Director for ICAR Maharashtra Pune asserted land as the important capital for farming whereas Balasaheb Gite Successful Farmer from Farmer Producer Company Kalamb said Milk production business could play supportive role to the farming, Shri. Ankush Padwale from Krishi Kranti Firms Club Mangalvedha Solapur unfolded the importance of Organic Farming, Group Farming and guided the audience on how to export quality oriented agricultural products abroad. Many stalls showcasing agricultural inputs, Farming equipment were installed at the place of the festival. Three days of power packed event managed to generate positive awareness about Agriculture among Farmers. AGROTECH FESTIVAL ACCELERATES THE DEVELOPMENT OF FARMERS.

                                                   Says Sadabhau Khot Minister of State for Agriculture Three days Agricultural fair and exhibition of farmers that has been organized on the occasion of Diamond jubilee Year of Sanskriti Samvardhan Mandal extensively demonstrated the achievements of farmers on large scale, as the rise of society and country lies in the progress and upliftment of women this was said by the women farmers and entrepreneurs invited for gathering of women's ,in her discourse women entrepreneur Mrs. Sitabai Mohite said that women's working in Self-help groups should think about the processing of agricultural products and posse the qualities patience, calmness, and marketing skills to be successful entrepreneur, and added that husband and wife together should attend such programmes . Dr. Nirupama Deshpande social activist from Mumbai said the women's belongs tribal region especially from Melghat and Amravati are now getting know their rights and working together they are selling handmade things to urban people and urged to adopt online sell techniques. Minister of State for Agriculture Hon. Sadabhau Khot in his address to the farmers reiterated the importance of Krishi Vigyan Kendra calling it as Farmers Clinic in a rural region and Congratulated the SSM for the journey of 60 years. So as to do social work one has to devote his life and this was done by chairman Pramod Deshmukh he said, Minister gave away agricultural inputs to beneficiary farmers, the inauguration of Diamond jubilee market for vegetable vendors was also done by Hon. Minister, and witnessed the efforts done by SSM making rural community self-reliant. Among those present on the occasion were Chairman Pramod Deshmukh, MLA Subhash Sabne, Dist. Agricultural officer Ravishankar Chalvade, ZP Member Laxman Thakarwad, secretary SSM Dr. Jayant Jakate office bearers of agricultural Department.

As Sanskriti Samvardhan Mandal has completed the 60 years of dedication exercising for the Development in every walks of rural life , to mark the Diamond jubilee year formal inauguration ceremony in association with Krishi Vigyan Kendra and Agricultural Department was held on 10 February in the main arena of Vasundhara Auditorium Shardanagar Sagroli, in the privileged presence of most respected Dr. Dnyanraj Manikprabhu Maharaj, ex officio president for Sanskriti Samvardhan Mandal, Dr. Dnyanraj Maharaj attended the function with blessings to commemorate the Diamond jubilee Year and inaugurated the agro-tech fair organized on the occasion , the program commenced with the tree plantation and felicitation of the guest and proceded with welcome song followed by the introductory speech of the chair of organizing committee Arvind Deshmukh. While addressing the gathering Chairman Pramod Deshmukh recollected the memories of old volunteers sharing long lasting journey of SSM and asserted the importance of Skill education which is being considered by the Institution ,DDO Nabard Mr. Rajesh Dhurve congratulated SSM for the impact-oriented work,in his presidential speech Dr Dnyanraj Maharaj stated that so as to give back to the society Babasaheb established the Institution, during the program Platinum jubilee of Director Dadasaheb Deshmukh and 60 th Birth anniversary of Shri. Sunil Deshmukh was graced by Dr. Dnyanraj Maharaj.

As a part of Diamond jubilee celebration, SSM has planned a series of activities throughout the year, during three days festival cereal festival, crop competition, an exhibition of vegetables, fruits and rare varieties of seeds is being showcased. Over five thousand people including volunteers, students, Alumni of SSM, farmers had assembled at the Inaugural Ceremony. The presence of distinguishing guest Mr.Rajesh Dhurve DDO Nabard, ZP member Laxman Thakkarwad, Bhausaheb Jahagirdar, Dr. Madhusudhan Ratnaparakhi Deputy Commissioner, Department of Animal Husbandry enriched the function. The energizing inaugural function set the tone for the rest of the event to be celebrated throughout the year.
